Hi! I'm Nia Fenix.
I'm a writer, storyteller, and the creator behind Fenix Creative Works—a creative home for honest stories, humor in hard moments, and projects for people learning how to live well when life changes the plan.
I write for anyone navigating chronic illness, disability, grief, or the quiet identity shifts that come when life looks different than expected.
I don't believe in pretending positive thinking fixes everything.
I believe in learning how to adapt.
Celebrating small victories.
Building a meaningful life—even if it looks nothing like the one you planned!

This studio was created to hold space for stories that don't rush past the hard parts.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen, discovering new ways my body lets me enjoy the outdoors, or enthusiastically collecting hobbies that somehow become emotional support projects.
I believe creativity isn't limited to writing. Sometimes it looks like trying a new recipe, getting lost in a craft, spending quiet time in nature, or simply finding small moments of joy on difficult days.
Life has changed my story in countless ways—but it has never taken away my love of creating, my curiosity, or my belief that even the hardest chapters can still hold moments of beauty and laughter.
I live with curiosity, compassion, a stubborn sense of hope, and the belief that a meaningful life isn't measured by how closely it follows the plan. Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the unexpected ones.
